PFJIM CHURCH PLANTING SURVEY IN KISUMU KENYA APRIL 2012

PFJIM CHURCH PLANTING SURVEY IN KISUMU WESTERN KENYA APRIL 2012
IT IS LONG SINCE WE COMMUNICATED ON THE BLOG.  LIFE HAS BEEN VERY BUSY HERE IN THE MISSION FIELDS OF NAROK IN KENYA AND IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.  ON 19TH TO 23RD APRIL 2012, THE MISSION TEAM OF PFJIM TRAVELED TO KISUMU WESTERN KENYA FOR A CHURCH (ABOUT 350 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM NAROK TOWN).  THEY WERE BUSY ESTABLISHING FACTS ABOUT THE PLACE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A CHURCH PLANT.  THEY HAD A GOOD NEAR LAKE VICTORIA KEENLY INVESTIGATING THE LUO TRIBE CULTURES AND TRADITIONS PLUS A LOT MORE.  THEIR FINDINGS WERE WONDERFUL WITH ONE STRONG RECOMMENDATION THAT THE PLACE CALLED KOROWE NEEDS A NEW EVANGELICAL CHURCH PLANT SINCE THERE WAS NON TO SERVE A POPULATION OF ABOUT 500 PEOPLE.

ON 15TH THROUGH TO 20 AUGUST 2012, PFJIM MISSION TEAM WILL TRAVEL BACK THERE FOR A CRUSADE, LEADERS SEMINAR AND OFFICIAL LAUNCHING OF THE KISUMU CHURCH.  PRAY WITH US FOR THE WORK.
